PRO8 SCORED ANEW AGAINST WANTED PERSONS

Camp Ruperto Kangleon – PNP PRO8’s sustained operations against wanted persons immensely contributed to the downtrend of crime in the region aside from conducting strict implementation of the Police Integrated Patrol System (PIPS) or the Patrulya ng Pulis in the past year.

On January 28, 2012 at Barangay San Pedro, Jaro, Leyte, a man accused of FRUSTRATED MURDER was arrested by Jaro Police led by PSINSP RICKY C RELI, Arrested person was identified as JOVENCIO LETRODO AMADO, 48 years old, married, farmer and a resident of said place.

He was arrested by virtue Warrant of Arrest for the crime of FRUSTRATED MURDER docketed under Criminal Case Number BN-11-09-4711 issued by Honorable Judge Yolanda U. Dagandan, Presiding Judge of RTC8, Branch 15, Burauen, Leyte with recommended bail for his temporary liberty fixed at P200,000.00 and is now presently detained at Jaro Police Station lock-up cell .

On the same day, at about 11:30AM at Barangay San Roque, Tolosa, Leyte, operatives of Tolosa Police led by SPO4 CESARIO B JACER arrested FELICISIMO GACMATAN ADVINCULA, 25 years old, single, laborer and a resident of said place by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of THEFT docketed under CC Nr 2008-08-413, issued by Honorable Frisco T. Lilagan, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 34, Bulwagan ng Katarungan, Tacloban City with recommended bail of P22,000.00 for his temporary liberty. ADVINCULA is now presently detained at Tolosa lock-up cell.

PSSUPT ELIZAR P EGLOSO, Chief RPCRD is grateful of the PNP statistics showing total crimes against persons in 2011 are lower by 30.42% or 59,660 from 86,036 in 2010, and total crime against property in 2011 has dropped down to 17.88% or 97,671 from 118,943 in 2010.
