The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency as the lead agency in the enforcement of Anti-Drug Law implements Drug-Free Workplace by conducting unannounced Drug Test among
its employees.
Personnel of PDEA RO8 undertake a surprised drug test in line with the launch activity dubbed as “Higugmaon Ko an PDEA Otso”. The said activity is mandatory among all employees and failure to do so would mean an Administrative Case against the employee.
A total of sixty nine (69) employees undergone the “Mandatory Drug Test” yielded NEGATIVE results. While those who have not taken yet the “TEST” due to official business will be scheduled for another round of ‘Surprised Drug Test”.
The activity is being undertaken in compliance with the provisions of RA 9165, DDB Regulations No. 2, series of 2004, and the Civil Service Commission MC No.13, series 2010.
